Grace Layne Photography - A Beautiful September Wedding

I have known Ashlee since high school, maybe middle school? My school years meld together honestly, or maybe I'm just getting old! haha!

When I met up with her and Justin to do their engagement shoot, I was so excited because I knew Ashlee had the fun, happy-go-lucky spirit that I have, which made for a very fun session! The three of us laughed nearly the ENTIRE time. If you look back through their engagement photos, you will notice they are laughing in nearly every single one!

Ashlee had her wedding planned for September since the beginning of this year ( maybe earlier, but that's when she contacted me!). Then the shut down with COVID happened. As a bride in such an unknown time, I am sure it was so stressful! But we ended up getting to do it and it was SO much fun!

The weather was PERFECT for a wedding day, sunny and 70's I believe! I always pray for good weather for my brides, I mean I have bubble umbrellas stashed in my car just in case of rain, but no one hopes they have to use them!

When Ashlee got to the wedding location you could see how excited (and maybe slightly nervous) she was. She was GLOWING! Her happiness was showing through her smiles and laughs, and she made the most beautiful bride!

When she walked down the isle to Justin, the biggest smile broke out on his face. He looked like a child that was just handed the biggest present under the tree on Christmas. All during the ceremony they kept looking at each other and smiling or giggling, it was such a sweet sight!

The reception was definitely one to remember! There was so much dancing! I think nearly every guest got out on the dance floor and celebrated the newly weds!
