Grace Layne Photography - A "Little" Wedding, a Lot of Love

This wedding was an example of the love of family. From the moment I arrived to the wedding, I could tell this family had so much love for the couple that were to be married. I LOVE the intimate weddings, you know the ones where every detail of the wedding was very thought out and love poured into every inch of it. Makes my job easy, because I don't have to work very hard to convey the love through the photos!

When I saw the beautiful Kurstin, I was in awe. She was absolutely GORGEOUS! Her hair, make-up, dress, EVERYTHING was PERFECT! The excitement for her big day was very apparent and I could tell she could not wait to see her groom.

The first look was what every first look should be, full of emotion, adoration, and love. Christian had his breath taken away when he saw his bride and his reaction was exactly what Kurstin had hoped for. First looks are one of my favorite moments, because its intimate a moment that is just between the two of them before the craziness of the day.

During the ceremony there were so many laughs, as well as tears as the whole wedding party gathered around the couple to pray over them. I got chills seeing the love that surrounded this couple. It was breath taking.

The reception was a special one, as the bride and groom requested that each of their bridesmaids and groomsmen say a simple speech about their relationship with them. It was so special getting to see what an impact Christian and Kurstin made on each of their friends and family members. It was conveyed that this couple was meant to be and a blessing to all of those that are a part of their lives.

The end of the speeches was definitely one to remember, as there were fireworks! Then of course the cutting of the cake, where I am fairly certain Kurstin got the cake on every inch of Christians face EXCEPT his mouth! (laughing right now thinking about it!) All in all, a wedding I am certain was a dream come true for Christian and Kurstin. Congrats you two!
